OK 4 Hour Commercial Roofing Course

This class is designed for all Registered Commercial Roofing Contractors in Oklahoma, as fulfills the entire four-hour continuing education requirement for this cycle to renew a Commercial Roofing Endorsement.

All the main codes, standards, statutes, and rules that apply to roofing contractors in the state are addressed. Where possible, the considerations of the Technical Committees that adopted the codes and rules are discussed, along with how recent changes affect roofing contractors. The class also provides a look at rooftop photovoltaic (PV) systems, how best to deal with them, what key codes and considerations must be applied, and how PV systems are likely to affect roofing contractors in the days to come.

By the end of this class, students will be able to comply fully with all registration and insurance requirements, navigate Oklahoma's various rules & regulations for roofing contractors, apply the most up-to-date codes and rules, employ best practices for roof maintenance and repair and for safety when at work, and better respond to the varying needs & challenges that face roofing contractors in a tornado-prone state.
