CE Requirements to Renew a New York Electrical License
Suffolk County
Suffolk County Consumer Affairs requires that electrical licensees take continuing education classes every two years.
- Master Electricians must take 8 hours of CE.
- Restricted Electricians must take 4 hours of CE.

- Electricians are required to complete 6 hours of CE every year.
State of New York Electrical License Renewal Deadline
Suffolk County
- Licensed electricians must renew their license by the first day of the month of issuance, every two years.
