In this 8-hour course, we'll begin with a discussion of OSHA, and review their purpose to promote safe working conditions through standards and education. Maintaining a safe workplace requires everyone's participation, so we'll also review some basic safety rules that plumbers (and others) can implement in their work.

The course will include education on various hazards and environmental risks that may be encountered at a job site, including dangerous flammable materials, as well as physical hazards.

After that, we'll cover some business principles as we discuss basic contract law. This includes an overview of contractual terms, as well as how to use contracts in your business. After that, we'll spend some time discussing marketing and sales. You'll learn the important components of a marketing plan, how to create and implement one, and the best techniques and tools to employ.
